Step into the confidence and relief of trusting who you are.
Welcome—I'm Alexandra, a licensed therapist offering virtual psychotherapy for anxiety, self-doubt, depression and relationship patterns to adults across New York State.
My clients tend to be thoughtful, perceptive people who've spent years anticipating others' needs, smoothing over tension, and quietly second-guessing their own reactions. Often, these patterns took root early—in families where love was present, but attunement or emotional support was harder to come by.
In therapy, we work to understand these patterns, loosen the shame that can surround difficult emotions, and rebuild trust with yourself. Over time, clients tend to feel less weighed down by old dynamics, more grounded in their own voice, and freer to show up—in their relationships and in their lives—as who they actually are.
Together we can help you:
Trust yourself and your choices—feel more confident in who you are and what you want
Reconnect with your needs—honor them without guilt or fear
Set healthy boundaries—with partners, family, friends, or coworkers, while letting go of people-pleasing
Quiet your inner critic—step free from perfectionism and self-judgment
Navigate life transitions—breakups, career changes, or becoming a parent with clarity and self-assurance
Process difficult emotions and losses—without feeling overwhelmed
Live with more ease and confidence—feeling grounded in your sense of self
Creative psychotherapy for adults, serving Kingston, the Hudson Valley, and all of New York State

Art Therapy
Art therapy uses the creative process to access thoughts and feelings that can be difficult to reach through talk therapy alone. Through imagery and hands-on expression, many clients gain new clarity, experience emotional release, and deepen their connection to themselves. For more info, see my Art Therapy FAQ page.

Mindfulness Based Therapy (MBT)
With a background in mindfulness, I integrate practices that help you develop a steadier, more compassionate awareness of your thoughts, feelings, and body sensations. Mindfulness can support nervous system regulation and has been shown to reduce symptoms of anxiety, depression, stress, and chronic pain, offering a grounded, present-centered way to approach healing.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)
Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy is an evidence-based approach that views the mind as having various "parts" (sub-personalities), such as a critical part, a anxious part, or a protective part. Rather than trying to eliminate these parts, IFS helps you understand and heal them, leading to less internal conflict, greater self-compassion, and healing from past trauma.
